Karen Rios
Co-founder and CEO
Karen Rios is Lifesaver’s Co-founder and CEO. Prior to founding Lifesaver, Karen served as Chief Compliance Officer for Seminole Management Company. Karen was the first Latina and youngest C-level officer in the firm’s history. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
Corey Beebe
Co-founder and CTO
Corey Beebe is Lifesaver’s Co-founder and CTO. Prior to founding Lifesaver, Corey worked in operations and marketing for Columbia University. His professional interests lie in backend and native mobile development emerging technologies. He holds a B.A. from Louisiana State University and a certificate from the Columbia Journalism School.
Zainab Lateefi
Head of Product
Zainab Lateefi is the Head of Product at Lifesaver. Prior to joining Lifesaver, she worked at the Barclays Techstars Startup Accelerator. There, she helped early-stage FinTech startups grow their businesses through strategic partnerships and investments. As a graduate student, she conducted research for CEQ, a think tank funded by the Gates Foundation. She holds a Master's degree in Econometrics from Tulane University.
Oban MacTavish
Head of Growth & Finance
Oban MacTavish is Lifesaver’s Head of Growth and Finance. Prior to joining Lifesaver Oban co-founded Hubly, a Vancouver based Fintech where he was the Head of Partnerships. An avid investor, Oban has managed a six-figure portfolio with total cumulative returns of 311% since inception. He holds a BCOM in finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
